[HEY, ALL YOU POKÉPATRIOTS. Do you know what day it is? President Sheriff Harry S. Truman sure does.
It's the Fourth of July, Harry's second favorite holiday.
So there he is, grinning at his 'Gear.]
Morning, everyone. I don't know how many of you celebrate today back home, and I don't know how many of you are in the Saffron area or can easily get here, but Albert and I are throwing a Fourth of July party here at the house. There'll be food!
[...Harry won't mention the fact that the pool is currently out of order. Or that there are no fireworks, but Albert mentioned something about color-changing fire? Something with chemicals. Anyway.]
So come on over if you want! American-ness optional. We'll be here all day.
[There's a pause as Harry's expression shifts to a slightly sheepish frown.]
Oh, and — uh. To those of you who talked to Clara, my Cleffa, a few weeks ago: sorry. I didn't know she had my 'Gear at the time. I didn't even know she knew how to type...
[And with that, the feed cuts out. Open log is HERE!]

So, what's the occasion? Some kinda holiday?
[He figures it's American, since the feed mentioned as much, though he has to wonder if it's another silly thing like that whole "Pi Day" or two-sided Valentines.]
Harry should probably not look this excited.]
Yup. It's also known as Independence Day — the day the Declaration of Independence was signed back in 1776, declaring the thirteen colonies of the United States free and independent from British rule.
Sounds like a great thing to celebrate!
[He says that with a bright smile but of course, it wouldn't be Crow is he didn't--]
Never expected you of all the people to throw a party, though.
[Yeah.]
Which would explain why he suddenly looks much less excited than he did a second ago.
Oops.]
It's not that kind of party.
Why, are American parties all that different?
[Crow raises his eyebrow skeptically. Granted, he's learned that you people have this holiday with turkey-eating parties (... or something among those lines), but other than that stuff should work the same, right?]
[Thanksgiving is basically a Turkey-eating party, though, let's be real.]
It's just — y'know, a casual get-together.
[It's not like he expects things to explode during one. In fact, he prefers when that doesn't happen.]
I mean, as long as there's food, drinks and fun? That works!
Fourth of July.
Something's gonna explode.]
You gonna drop by?
[Look. Putting differences or whatever aside in the name of patriotism.]
--Who, me?
[Like there's anyone else involved in the conversation. Still, that's... kind of unexpected, to be honest.]
[SHH DUDE DON'T THINK ABOUT IT TOO HARD.]
